a wooden gate. the stain and varnish on the wood are flaking and fading. at the top, there is a white metal newspaper holder. under the newspaper holder is a metal postal slit. and under the postal slit, there is an old metal sign which reads "HIER WACHE ICH! Betretn auf eigene Gefahr" the sign used to show a picture of a dog, but it has long since faded into white.
