A note on the word "read."
This is actually a list of books I finished in 2021. The list of books I spent significant time with is a bit longer. The list of books I read into is even longer than that. And the list of things I read online (One year, I tried making a list of every blog post or online article--with links. It was a mess) is even longer still.

In order to make a list like this, one must set some arbitrary criteria. "Finished" may be the least interesting possible criterion, but it allows me to make a list that isn't chaos.

This list does not include the hundreds of picture books I read to my child, nor the number of times I read each one of them.
