Tomorrow is June. Today is bullshit. Today I will write a poem to the rain. Tomorrow I will burn my own house down. It's so easy to say your throat hurts because of the weather, but it doesn't really explain anything. Here's an explanation: because of the punishing strictures (wait, is that redundant?) of the Treaty of Versailles. Here's another: because I said so. And a third: to attract bees. They've closed the Lustnau high water gate and may have to dissolve the alarm later though the rain seems to have let up considerably. And to think I'd never even heard the term "collocation" before I started teaching here.
